The 24h race at the Nürburgring

About 200,000 people flow out every year to the worldwide longest and also nicest racetrack of the world - the Nürburgring Nordschleife. Otherwise, motor sport is nowhere more varied, the surroundings and nature more attractive, are the fans confirmed on "her track". Besides, the claims are indescribably high to the real main actors of the long distance classic, the drivers. "Who says after a race, he loves this course, lies or has partly driven", ex-world champion Jackie Stewart once cursed the Nordschleife and stamped with it the expression "green hell". The statement came into history - and still did not damage to the love.

Concentrated Passion
In spite of or just because of the high claim to person and machine, the racetrack open in 1927 in the Eifel lets the hearts of the fans and race drivers beat faster. No track worldwide stands equally for fascination and passion, tradition and modern age, adventure and also relaxation. With the famous-infamous Nordschleife, the top-modern Grand Prix course and countless heroes and tragedies, victories and defeats she has become recently a legend. Beside the official website of the organizing ADAC Nordrhein numerous media also transport once more the fascination of the long distance classic from this year's 36th ADAC Zurich 24h-race.
